Judge: Poles have always treated Belarusians, Russians well

MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – Poles have always treated Belarusians and Russians well, Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt said during a press conference in BelTA’s press center on 6 May.

“I have never seen Poles to show any negative attitude towards Belarusians, towards Russians,” Tomasz Szmydt said.

“In fact, there is no problem for us to cooperate, to visit each other,” the Pole said.

According to him, Polish politics is not independent. “There is a huge influence from the United States, the UK,” Tomasz Szmydt emphasized.

The Polish judge asked protection in Belarus. Tomasz Szmydt is a judge of the 2nd Department of the Voivodeship Administrative Court of Warsaw. Previously, he held various positions in the Polish judiciary and justice system. He was the head of the legal department at the National Council of Judges of Poland. Due to disagreement with the policy and actions of the authorities, he was forced to leave Poland and is currently in Belarus. He was persecuted and threatened for his independent political position.

Tomasz Szmydt declares his protest to the Polish authorities who under the influence of the USA and the UK are leading the country to war.
