MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – The ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm, Sweden to take place as scheduled on 22-28 March 2021, BelTA learned from the ISU official website.
It was also decided that the championships in the Swedish capital will have the status of a qualifier for the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, China.
Almost all national federations have confirmed the participation of their athletes in the tournament. However, those who do not meet the qualification standards necessary for participation in the Games will be given a chance at the annual Nebelhorn Trophy in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was also decided not to change the schedule of the ISU World Team Trophy, scheduled for 15-18 April in Osaka.
