MINSK, 1 May (BelTA) - Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin held a web-based meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vanthong Sithikoun on 30 April. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam, Belarusian and Laotian business communities, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event began with a presentation about the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and continued with the discussion of possible forms of cooperation.
Mr Vanthong Sithikoun expressed a great interest in cooperation with the BelCCI and readiness to visit Belarus with a business delegation in July to study the capabilities of the Belarusian manufacturing sector, to identify the points of mutual interest and promising areas of cooperation.
During the videoconference, representatives of Belarusian and Laotian businesses made presentations about their companies.
