MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has announced its top ten players for the past three weeks of the regular season, BelTA learned from the league’s press service.
HC Dinamo Minsk forwards Sam Anas and Alex Limoges claimed the first and second spots in the ranking. Between 3 and 23 February, the U.S. players took part in eight KHL games, with Anas tallying 16 points (5 goals, 11 assists) and Limoges recording 12 points (4 goals, 8 assists). Both forwards are currently on seven-game point streaks. Ranking ninth on the list of top players is Minsk Bisons defenseman Rob Hamilton, who contributed 2 goals and 5 assists.
The KHL player ranking is calculated based on a variety of statistical indicators. For goaltenders, factors include the average number of saves per game and their goals-against average. For defensemen and forwards, in addition to points, the calculation includes plus/minus rating, as well as average numbers of takeaways, hits, and blocked shots per game.
