MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – Beltamozhservice Company has expanded the geography of shipments and the range of goods shipped to China, the Belarusian logistics company’s press service told BelTA.

Another manifest container train has left Belarus to deliver 62 40-foot containers to China: 28 with peat will go to Hebei Province, 20 with flax will be divided into two streams – 8 to Anhui Province and 12 to Jiangsu Province, and 14 with sawn timber will arrive in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province.

“The strategic policy for the development of logistics to faraway countries is bringing tangible results. Beltamozhservice can establish logistics chains by rail transport as part of container trains. The company’s own infrastructure allows it to consolidate goods at its transport and logistics hubs, providing a range of warehousing services, customs representative services, and rail freight delivery services,” the company said.

The company intends to significantly expand the range of goods in future shipments to China to include cellulose, spare parts, tractors, wood chips, starch, milk powder, and whey.

The launch of the new Vasilek [cornflower in Belarusian] service for forming a manifest container train from Belarus to China is aimed at optimizing logistics costs for the delivery of goods to the People’s Republic of China. The first train was assembled in September 2025 in cooperation with Belarusian Railways to deliver 62 40-foot containers (sawn timber and cellulose) along the route Belarus - China (Kolyadichi - Naushki (Russia) - Erenhot (a railway junction at the border between China and Mongolia) - Qingdao/Taicang/Ningbo (destination stations in China)). Shipments have been regular since January. Two manifest container trains were already dispatched in January and February.

“The dynamics of the service’s development reflects the general trend of growth in Belarusian container shipments. Thanks to effective logistics, well-developed infrastructure, and close coordination with partners the number of shipments from Belarus to China increased tenfold in the last few years,” the company said.

Beltamozhservice is a fourth-party logistics (4PL) operator. The company was established by the State Customs Committee of Belarus in 1999 and enjoys the status of a customs representative, a customs carrier, an exchange broker and an air broker, a national guarantor of customs payments, and other functions.
