MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) - The international road cycling race The Tour of Belarus continues in Brest Oblast, BelTA has learned.
Evgeny Korolek from Grodno clocked 49 min. 55 sec to win the 40km individual time trial. Silver went to Mark Grinkevich from Grodno was 19 seconds behind the winning time. Yevgeny Sobol from Brest Oblast was third (+1.53min).
Thus, Evgeny Korolek has strengthened his leadership in the overall standings of The Tour of Belarus. Now he is ahead of the runner-up by more than two minutes. The 202km race from Kamenets to Slonim will be held on 15 July. The fourth leg will be held on Saturday, and the tournament will wrap up on 17 July with a 134km circuit race along Novogrudok.
Athletes from Russia and Uzbekistan are also competing in The Tour of Belarus race.
