MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - Refugees are settling down for the night, making fires and replenishing water supplies, BelTA has learned.
People look exhausted and tired. Most of them have been here for 7-8 days. One of the refugees said that today was one of the most terrible days in her life. "I'm from Iraq, I have two children. We want to get to Germany, because it is not safe at home. We have been here for 6 days. We are very tired. A lot of people were hit by water cannon and tear gas today. It's terrible. The uncertainty is scary. We do not want to go to Poland. Our goal is Germany," the woman said.
While some part of the people has returned to the old camp, many have stayed near the checkpoint. According to visual assessment, there are about a thousand people now. People are making fires, drying clothes and footwear.
