
MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) - More than 220 military vehicles will participate in the Victory Day Parade on 9 May 2025, Deputy Commander of the Northwestern Operational Command, Major General Igor Kozlov told BelTA.


A training session for the mechanized infantry that will participate in the parade took place at the Lipki airfield on 3 April. According to Igor Kozlov, the parade will feature both modern equipment and vehicles upgraded by Belarusian enterprises.

"We will showcase military equipment from the war period. At the forefront of this ‘historical’ group will be the T-34 tank, known as 'Chervonny'," he said.
He noted that the practical training began back in March: "The servicemen are well-prepared. They were selected from different military units."


Igor Kozlov emphasized that usually equipment of various sizes participate in the military parade. The vehicles travel at a speed of 17-18 km/h, maintaining a distance between the formations.
