Observer from Serbia: Election process in Belarus is voter-friendly

MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) –  International observer from Serbia Dragan Stanojević has praised the organization of the election in Belarus. In an interview with the ONT TV channel, he emphasized that Western media often criticize democratic processes in the republic, but the reality shows a different picture, BelTA reports.

“Very often we hear from Western media that there are no elections, no democracy there [in Belarus]. I believe that we, as international observers, can see the truth. There are no fights, no brawls, everything has been done for the comfort of people, everything is beautiful and decent. Cleanliness is what you will rarely see in the West, frankly speaking. And all of Belarus is very clean. You have something to be proud of,” Dragan Stanojević noted.

He believes that Western countries often envy Belarus, since they cannot achieve such order in their own countries. “I think they envy you because they can't do that in their home countries,” the international observer added.

The election in Belarus remains in the focus of attention of international experts, who say that the election is transparent and compliant with all democratic norms.
