MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The current stage of the mass inoculation campaign in Belarus prioritizes the elderly and people with multiple health conditions, Healthcare Minister Dmitry Pinevich told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“We now need to vaccinate all people who applied to a jab at polyclinics, giving a priority to older adults. Another priority group are people with multiple health conditions. At the second stage we might resume vaccination at exhibition centers and other sites where we can give a shot to all age groups,” Dmitry Pinevich said.
The minister noted that the COVID-19 vaccination wait list will decrease due to the massive supply of vaccines to polyclinics.
