Belavia launches Minsk-Voronezh flight

MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia launched a new regular flight Minsk-Voronezh-Minsk on 17 December, BelTA has learned.

Belavia will operate the flight four times a week. Departure from Minsk is at 23:05 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and the arrival at Voronezh International Airport is at 00.30. The return flight will depart at 05:35 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Arrival in Minsk is 07:05. The schedule is based on local time.

Flights will be operated using CRJ-200 aircraft (49 seats) and Embraer-175 (76 seats).

The travel time is an hour and a half.

A one-way ticket costs €96, including taxes and fees, a return ticket is €179.

Voronezh International Airport will become the tenth Russian airport in Belavia's route network. At present, the Belarusian air carrier operates flights to Moscow Domodedovo, Zhukovsky Airport, Pulkovo (St Petersburg), Krasnodar Airport, Strigino (Nizhny Novgorod), Sochi Airport, Khrabrovo (Kaliningrad), Kazan Airport, Platov (Rostov-on-Don).

Belavia is Belarus' top air carrier. Based in Minsk National Airport, it offers regular flights to 51 destinations in 28 countries. The company operates a fleet of 29 aircraft (five Boeing 737-500 jets, six Boeing 737-500 jets, seven Boeing 737-300 jets, three Embraer 175 aircraft, four Embraer 195 aircraft, and four CRJ-100/-200 jets).
