MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2025 continues in accordance with the approved plan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
In particular, during the exercise Russian motorized infantry units have successfully crossed the Berezina River in BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles. Belarusian pilots flying Mi-35 attack helicopters provided close air support during the river crossing. After successfully crossing the river the Russian motorized infantry units were instructed to begin isolating an unlawful armed group.
“Cohesive actions of the Belarusian and Russian military personnel demonstrated a high level of interaction and coordination between the allied armies,” the source said.
