MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – A staff exercise of the joint command of the joint task force of Belarus and Russia is underway in Minsk. It is designed to enhance the defense capability of the Union State, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
The topic of the exercise is “Making a decision on the use of the joint task force to ensure the Union State security”. Over the course of three days, the military of Belarus and Russia will work out one of the scenarios for using the joint task force at stationary command posts.
The drill is part of efforts to prepare for the joint strategic exercise West 2025 that will take place in the Republic of Belarus this year.
