MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko will pay a working visit to Moscow on 12-13 December to attend meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the CIS Heads of Government Council, BelTA has learned.
A meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council will be held on 12 December. The heads of government are expected to exchange views on topical matters of CIS economic cooperation. Then the prime ministers are set to consider and sign a number of documents related to cooperation in civil shipbuilding and ship components manufacturing, in personnel training for penitentiary services, in study, use, protection and monitoring of underground water, humanitarian cooperation, and also a number of documents on financing of the CIS bodies' activity.
On the same day, Roman Golovchenko, together with other heads of delegations, will visit the campus of Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The heads of delegations will learn about the state and development prospects of the university, about student engineering projects, and tour the student dormitory Spectrum and Quantum Park.
A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held on 13 December. The heads of government of the EAEU countries will discuss cooperation issues, including progress to create common markets for oil and petroleum products, gas, as well as the EAEU budget for 2025, financial assistance for joint projects in the manufacturing industry. The signing of final documents is also planned.
