Belarus, Kazakhstan discuss joint measures for investigating crimes

MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) - Belarus and Kazakhstan have discussed joint measures for investigating and solving of crimes, BelTA learned from the Investigative Committee of Belarus.

On the sidelines of the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in Lianyungang, China, a working meeting took place between a delegation of the Investigative Committee of Belarus led by Chairman Dmitry Gora and a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan headed by Minister Yerzhan Sadenov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress on a cooperation agreement, the provision of legal assistance in criminal cases and joint measures for the investigation and solving of crimes. Special attention was paid to specific outcomes of the work carried out by joint investigative-operational groups regarding criminal cases against the organizers, leaders, and members of an international criminal organization engaged in fraud over four years.
