MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Control Committee (SCC) intends to continue its interaction with Chinese colleagues, Chairman of the Belarusian State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov said ahead of the meeting between Li Xi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk on 22 September, BelTA has learned.
“The importance of this visit is that it moves us from discussing general approaches, as we did several years ago, to agreeing on certain, concrete areas today,” Vasily Gerasimov emphasized.
He noted that an agreement on cooperation had been signed with Chinese colleagues back in 2018. “Therefore, this is not the first or the second meeting. We add something new every year,” the SCC chairman said.
