MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – Destructive forces keep trying to disrupt the referendum, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus (CEC) told BelTA .
“Today, people all over the country started receiving text messages about the postponement of the referendum. The Central Election Commission of Belarus informs that this is fake. The nationwide referendum will be held as planned, on 27 February. Polling stations will be open from 8:00 till 20.00. Early voting will begin tomorrow, on 22 February and will continue through 26 February. During the early voting period polling stations will be open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00,” the CEC informed.
The CEC of Belarus urges voters to obtain information from reliable sources and not to succumb to provocations.
