MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – A rehearsal of the air display that will make part of the military parade celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is being streamed online on the ВоенТВ (VoenTV) YouTube channel, BelTA has learned.
The Victory Day parade, due in Minsk on 9 May, will feature 36 planes and helicopters combined into nine groups. The first rehearsal of the flyby took place above Minskoye More Lake on 29 April.
The show will display jet fighters Su-30SM and MiG-29, combat and training aircraft Yak-130, training aircraft L-39, military transport aircraft IL-76 and An-26, and Mi-24 and Mi-8MTV5 helicopters.
The Victory Day military parade is set to start at 11:00 on 9 May. The dress rehearsal is scheduled for 21:00 on 8 May. Some streets in the center of Minsk will be closed to traffic.
