
MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved new appointments for the local government authorities on 13 October, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Komendant has been approved for the position of Minsk First Vice Mayor. Until now, he served as Chairman of the Economics Committee of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.
Aleksandr Novikov will assume the post of Chairman of the Gomel District Executive Committee. Prior to this, he was in charge of the Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash.

The Zhitkovichi District Executive Committee will be headed by Vladimir Antonenko. He previously led the Narovlya District Executive Committee.
In turn, the Narovlya District Executive Committee will be headed by Denis Yadchenko. He was previously Deputy Chairman for Construction and Utilities Services of the Narovlya District Executive Committee.
Nikolai Klimenok has been approved for the position of Chairman of the Loyev District Executive Committee. He previously held the post of Deputy Chairman of the Agriculture and Food Committee of the Gomel District Executive Committee.
The Zelva District Executive Committee will be headed by Yury Kostolomov. Until now, he was the director of the Khanchitsy-Neman enterprise in Svisloch District.
Andrei Gordei has been approved for the position of Chairman of the Smorgon District Executive Committee. Until now, he held a similar post in Korelichi District.
In turn, Korelichi District will be headed by Aleksandr Kurilo. He was previously First Deputy Chairman - Head of the Agriculture and Food Department of the Berestovitsa District Executive Committee.
