MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – Air Force One with President of the United States of America Donald Trump on board has landed in Alaska where the U.S. president will meet with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Reuters reports.
The White House press pool clarified that the aircraft landed at 10:20 local time (21:20 Minsk time).
In an interview with the TV channel Fox News on board the aircraft on the way from Washington to Anchorage Donald Trump said he was confident that the upcoming negotiations with the Russian president in Alaska would go very well.
The negotiations of the leaders of the Russian Federation and the United States of America will take place at the USA’s Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson on 15 August. Donald Trump is expected to personally greet Vladimir Putin on the runway.
