Ryzhenkov meets with Chinese delegation

MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – On 28 October, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov met with a delegation led by Sun Linjiang, Special Representative of the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Eurasian Affairs, who is in Minsk to participate in the 3rd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, BelTA has learned.

The two parties emphasized the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and the intensive dialogue at the highest and high levels. They also noted ample opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in the political and economic spheres. Close attention was paid to a discussion of the international and regional situation, including developments in the countries neighboring Belarus.
The parties highlighted similarity in the views of Belarus and China, specifically regarding the principle of political dignity. They affirmed that this shared principle plays an important role in building cooperation between independent states.
