MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with President of the United States of America Donald Trump on a runway in the city of Anchorage, TASS reports.
Donald Trump greeted the guest right on a runway of the U.S. joint military base Elmendorf-Richardson. The American leader was clapping hands as he welcomed his guest, who was walking along a red carpet strip. The politicians had a firm handshake.
Putin and Trump exchanged a couple of phrases before the photo shoot on the runway. A U.S. army honor guard detail also greeted Vladimir Putin as per custom.
After meeting at the airport in Alaska Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump got into the American leader’s car.
