MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) - Belarus and China consistently support each other on international issues in all organizations, Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi said during a meeting with Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, in Minsk on 22 September, BelTA has learned.
Dmitry Krutoi emphasized, addressing the guest: "Today is a special day for your visit. A meeting has been held with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. He praised our joint work and our all-weather strategic partnership. Our leader noted that it is a shining example of trust, respect, fairness, and mutual benefit across all sectors - economy, politics, culture, and humanitarian affairs."

“In terms of international relations, we consistently support each other in all organizations without exception. Belarus supports China on issues related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, Hong Kong, and Tibet,” Dmitry Krutoi noted.
The meeting discussed matters of cooperation between the Belarus President Administration and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

“The philosophies of state governance in our countries are very similar,” Dmitry Krutoi emphasized. "They are based on strong authority, a strong leader, political stability, accountability to the people, and discipline in the economy."

He noted that following the conclusion of Belarus’ electoral campaign in January 2025, Aleksandr Lukashenko signed two directives addressing discipline within government bodies and ideological work. “These are, in effect, guiding documents for the entire state apparatus of the Republic of Belarus. We are placing particular emphasis on improving the system for handling citizens’ appeals. We are actively studying the Chinese model,” he stated. “Progress accelerated after my meeting last year with Mr. Cai Qi [a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the Secretariat and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee]. He is the one behind this system’s implementation in Beijing. We hope that the best practices from China will soon be applied in our capital, the city of Minsk.”
Dmitry Krutoi also touched upon other key areas of work, including personnel and ideological work, and cooperation with the media.

He placed particular emphasis on the theme of preserving historical memory. “Belarus is actively constructing the National History Museum, and the People’s Republic of China is providing substantial support in terms of equipment, engineering systems, and multimedia content. We are striving to make this facility no less impressive than the Museum of the Communist Party of China in Beijing, which the president of Belarus considers the world’s finest example of how to present the theme of historical memory,” Dmitry Krutoi emphasized.
According to him, this visit marks another major stage in the development of bilateral relations. “In just two days, we have already identified new areas of cooperation that will form the basis of our work in the near future,” he concluded.
