CIS plenipotentiaries to discuss legal framework development prospects

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – The CIS Plenipotentiaries Council is set to hold a regular meeting in the CIS Executive Committee in Mins on 31 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The CIS plenipotentiaries are set to summarize the results of the meetings of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council and the CIS Heads of Government Council and outline the tasks for implementing the documents and agreements adopted during the meeting.

The CIS Foreign Ministers Council in-person meeting was held in Dushanbe on 13 May. Ten documents were adopted. The CIS Heads of Government Council held their meeting online on 20 May. The heads of government signed a number of documents aimed at further cooperation in biological and information security, youth, scientific and technological cooperation.

The CIS plenipotentiaries are also set to discuss the prospects for the development of the CIS legal framework in 2022.
