
MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) - Manufacturers are working on the latest materials and construction companies are actively applying modern technologies in their work, including in international projects, Belarusian First Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Vladimir Naumovich told the media on the sidelines of at the international architectural and construction exhibition BUDEXPO in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
When discussing the innovations presented at BUDEXPO, Vladimir Naumovich noted that these are developments by the enterprises affiliated with the appropriate ministry, the construction sector, industrial enterprises, and engineering organizations. “Companies are working to market new construction products: from ceramic tiles to cement industry products, new inert materials, and new technologies for digitalization and electronic development in design,” Vladimir Naumovich said emphasizing that modern construction also utilizes artificial intelligence technologies.

According to the first deputy minister, the country’s construction sector is currently progressing at a strong pace. "Export pace remains in place. We have seen significant growth in the export of services, particularly in areas with high added value. In January-July 2025 the export approached $700 million,” he added.

When discussing international projects, Vladimir Naumovich highlighted cooperation with Russia. “Our construction organizations are implementing projects in Kaluga Oblast and Vladimir Oblast of Russia. These include social facilities such schools and kindergartens, infrastructure projects, and industrial construction,” he noted.
