MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – In January-November 2020 Belarusians bought $1.74 billion worth of foreign currency more than they sold, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January-November individuals bought the equivalent of $9.205 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $7,466.2 million worth of foreign currency. The net purchase of foreign currency by individuals was close to $1.74 billion.
In January-November 20202 Belarusian business entities bought the equivalent of $20,903.3 million and sold $19.955 billion worth of foreign currency. The net purchase of foreign currency by business entities made up $946.4 million.
In January-November 2020 non-residents of Belarus bought $242.1 million worth of foreign currency and sold $546.2 million.
