MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) – Minsk is playing host to a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), BelTA has learned.
The meeting is attended by deputy prime ministers of the EAEU countries - members of the EEC Council. The Council is chaired by First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The agenda includes six issues: amendments to technical regulation “On the safety of wheeled vehicles”, on the reduction of import duties and the application of tariff benefits in respect of certain types of agricultural equipment, parts and components for it, on the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council draft decree “On the nomination of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to the EEC Council” - the appointment of a new EEC Council member from Kyrgyzstan, and others.
The EEC Council members are also expected to take part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of delegations. The parties are expected to sign the final documents at the end of the meeting.
