Contract to supply 140 Belarusian tractors concluded at Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum

MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – A contract to supply 140 vehicles made by Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) was signed during the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum on 13 April. The deal is estimated at more than $3.5 million, BelTA learned from the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Krai government.

The region is implementing the project to renew the fleet of street cleaning equipment in the run-up to the 29th Winter Universiade which is due in Krasnoyarsk in 2019. The city administration has made a choice in favor of MTZ products. The contract to supply 140 BELARUS tractors from the MTZ-Sibir Trading House was signed with the Krasnoyarsk dealer on 13 April who will supply the equipment to the city's utility services within a month. The matter is about a broad range of tractors, from the medium BELARUS-622 to the powerful BELARUS-2022 tractors.

The contract was finalized during a meeting of the working group on Belarus-Krasnoyarsk Krai cooperation with the participation Belarus Vice Premier Vladimir Semashko, Director General of the MTZ-Sibir Trading House Dmitry Belaits told BelTA. MTZ-Sibir also plans to cooperate with the city's administration in renewing the fleet of vehicles of the new Krasnoyarsk airport. They are in need of about 300 units of machinery. BELARUS tractors are expected to make up a large part of supplies.
