Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Yuri Gorlov was part of the government delegation. The program has a busy schedule, which includes bilateral talks, working meetings with business representatives, and tours of enterprises in Tajikistan. The Belarusian delegation includes companies specializing in processing, mechanical engineering, pedigree livestock farming and seed production.

“On the sidelines of the meeting, Belarusian agricultural enterprises signed over a dozen contracts worth over $16 million, with the agreements and memorandums aimed at creating new prospects for long-term product supplies,” the press service said.

In January-July 2025, bilateral trade in food products and agricultural raw materials saw a 52% increase over the same period of 2024. During this time, the volume of Belarusian exports grew by 54%. Key exports include meat and meat products (up 7.2 times), egg and egg products (up 4 times), sugar, dairy products, and live cattle.
