MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – Russia and Belarus have signed the Comprehensive Cooperation Program in Non-Energy Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Projects for 2025-2027, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus.

The document was co-signed by Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev and Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology Sergei Shlychkov.

Serving as a logical successor to the previously implemented Comprehensive Program, this document outlines the next phase of bilateral cooperation. It provides a detailed expansion of the provisions within the intergovernmental memorandum on deepening strategic cooperation in peaceful nuclear energy and associated high technologies.

The key priorities established in the updated Comprehensive Program include the execution of joint investment projects and the integration of new technologies into Belarus’ energy and industrial sectors. Its execution is set to leverage existing projects and programs of the Union State.
