MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) - Belarus is widely recognized and praised at the INNOPROM Central Asia exhibition, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan Aleksandr Ogorodnikov said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel on 27 April, BelTA learned.
"The INNOPROM platform is a gathering place for leading industrialists. We are well-known here, particularly for our agricultural machinery. Our tractors have an excellent reputation, we sell a good number of them year after year," he noted. "We continue to move forward, but we need to understand that the Chinese manufacturers also actively participate in this event."
The ambassador emphasized that all representatives of the Belarusian tractor plant, including dealers, are focused on specific tasks. The main goal is to develop services, which defines the Belarusian approach and explains why the Belarusian products are chosen. "Last week, I met with the rector of Tashkent State Technical University, and we agreed to open a training classroom on 1 September 2026. This will be a branded classroom to train specialists for the tractor plant," he shared. "Perhaps the most crucial aspect is understanding the importance of selling not just individual tractors, but entire machinery systems. Thus, our dealership network is striving to ensure that their facilities offer a full range of machines: the moment the farmer heads out into the field in spring, until the snow falls again in winter, as we say in Belarus. We want farmers to have access to a complete system of machinery.”
