MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) - Agricultural output by all types of agricultural producers (agricultural companies, private farms, subsidiary plots) amounted to Br1.067 billion in January 2021, up 0.2% in comparable prices over January 2020, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
All types of agricultural companies 150.400 tonnes of livestock and poultry. Milk output totaled 635,000 tonnes, eggs – 285.3 million. Agricultural companies accounted for 95.6% of the country's livestock and poultry production in live weight, 98.2% of milk and more than 93% of eggs.
As of 1 February, there were 4.2 million heads of cattle in agricultural organizations, including 1.4 million cows. The number of pigs amounted to 2.6 million.
