MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The meeting of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang takes place at the Palace of Independence in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
The talks of the two leaders were preceded by the ceremony of official welcome with the participation of the guards of honor and the orchestra of honor. The national anthems of the two states were played. The ceremony was also attended by the members of the official delegations.
After the photo ceremony the presidents will have one-on-one and extended negotiations. The parties will discuss the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation issues. The development of trade and economic cooperation will be in the spotlight.
After the talks of the two leaders the sides will sign a package of documents on the expansion of cooperation in various fields. It includes a joint statement of the two presidents.
On 27 June, Alexander Lukashenko and Tran Dai Quang will also attend the opening of the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum.
