MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – Radoslaw Sikorski simply began to fear for his career, Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt said as he commented on the statements by the Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in the Solovyov Live project, BelTA has learned.
"I absolutely cannot understand this hysteria in Warsaw. What did Sikorski write? Perhaps Sikorski is afraid that someone will begin to look closely at his career, at who he is, who his wife is and whose interests he really represents," the Polish judge said.
Tomasz Szmydt also noted that he still has the status of a judge. In fact, he is just on vacation in Belarus.
"I am still a judge. I left legally because I have a vacation," Tomasz Szmydt said.
"It turns out that Poland does not need legal grounds [for accusations]. On the day when I made a statement in Minsk, a Polish media outlet reported that I was considered as a target for a espionage case for a long time," the Polish judge stressed.
