Not so long ago, a BelTA photographer visited the suburbs of Cairo to admire one of the famous Seven Wonders of the World - the majestic Pyramids of Giza. The other six wonders of antiquity have long been destroyed, and only the pyramids, the oldest still tower over the desert. Nearby, like 4,500 years ago, the Great Sphinx, which once guarded the peace of the dead pharaohs, overlooks the Nile and the rising sun.
