Opinion: Belarus, Russia will resolve all issues in agriculture

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia will be able to resolve all the issues with the arrival of a new team in the government of the fraternal country, Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy said in an interview with the ONT TV channel on 10 June, BelTA has learned.

“Vice Prime Minister Aleksei Gordeyev and Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev are experienced people who know the job firsthand. Aleksei Gordeyev held the posts of the agriculture minister and deputy prime minister, the governor of Voronezh Oblast. So he knows what to do. I think we will build normal relations with this team and remove the barriers that are largely artificial, and give people a chance to make money calmly and confidently,” Mikhail Rusy noted.

Speaking about the cooperation between Belarus and Russia in agriculture, Mikhail Rusy said it is fairly at a high level. According to the deputy prime minister, the two countries need to finalize some issues relating to their agrarian policies.
