MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Consul General in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev and Vice-Consul Olga Krivets have met with representatives of the Shanghai International Culture Association, BelTA learned from Belarus’ diplomatic mission in Shanghai.
The parties discussed ways to expand cooperation in culture, which includes partnerships between Chinese and Belarusian museums and exhibition halls, and the exchange of tours by Belarusian and Chinese artistic groups. The parties also explored the possibilities to build contacts between unions of artists of the two countries and to open new exhibitions of Chinese painting and calligraphy in Belarus.
They also discussed plans to facilitate partnerships between Belarusian and Shanghai partners in order to introduce the Chinese audience to the cultural heritage of Belarus.
