MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) - Belarus is confidently moving forward in its development, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Belarus Nguyen Van Ngu, who attended the 7th Belarusian People's Congress as a guest, shared his opinion with BelTA.
“This is an important event, an example of true people's power. Representatives of the people are adopting strategic planning documents which envisage the country’s further development, including the legal foundation of security. It is a unique event and important documents which are to be implemented in the near future,” the Vietnamese ambassador said.
“The Belarusian People’s Congress is a platform where Belarusians discuss the most important issues for the development of the state and society,” the diplomat said.
According to Nguyen Van Ngu, the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Belarus have entered a new stage, promoted by the mutual exchange of visits. The Vietnamese ambassador is confident that the two parties have many new and important joint projects, including economic, cultural and educational ones, for implementation.
