MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) - Business circles of Belarus and the United Arab Emirates will discuss cooperation in the food industry, BelTA learned from the National Center of Marketing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The center has acted as the coordinator of the business meeting between the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UAE) and Belarusian food enterprises. "The meeting will be held on 19 September at the initiative of the Belarusian Embassy in the UAE. Thus we are implementing the agreements of the fourth meeting of the joint committee on cooperation between the governments of Belarus and the UAE," the center said. The venue of the meeting will be the business and cultural complex of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.
On behalf of Belarus the meeting will be attended by representatives of the Meat Dairy Company, Kommunarka and Krasny Pischevik confectioneries, Rogachev and Glubokoye dairy canning factories, and the Beloveszhskiye Syry cheese-making company. The delegation of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce will include representatives of the food sector companies (confectionery, beverages, dried fruits, nuts), the free economic zone, consulting firms, logistics companies and IT industry. The organizers believe that the business meeting will contribute to the further development of the Belarus-UAE relations in the food industry.
