MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – Belarus expects the second tranche of the Eurasian Found for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) in late June or early July, Belarus' Finance Minister Vladimir Amarin told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“The second installment under this program will be transferred as the performance indicators are met as of 1 June 2016. We and experts of the EFSD are evaluating these indicators. After that a decision will be made about the allocation of the second tranche of $300 million. We hope that this will be either at the end of June or early July,” he said.
The head of the Finance Ministry noted that, according to Belarus' estimates, the indicators are met.
Belarus received $500 in the first tranche of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development in late march 2016.
