MINSK, 9 July (BelTA) – Belarusian hammer thrower Ivan Tsikhan has been elected Belarus' Olympic Team Captain for Tokyo 2020, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus.
Ivan Tsikhan, a two-time Olympic medalist and a two-time world champion, was elected by a commission of Belarus' NOC athletes.
The Tokyo Olympics will be held from 23 July to 8 August; the Paralympic Games will take place from 24 August to 5 September.
