MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) - The Cincinnati Open 2025 qualifying is underway in the USA, BelTA has learned.
Belarus’ world number 119 Aliaksandra Sasnovich will face World No.149 Whitney Osuigwe of the USA in the first qualifying round. To advance to the main draw, players must go through two qualifying matches.
Last year's edition was won by current world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, who defeated Jessica Pegula of the USA in the final. Victoria Azarenka of Belarus claimed the title in 2013 and 2020.
The main draw of the Cincinnati Open 2025 will take place on 7-18 August. The champion will receive $752,200 and 1,000 ranking points.
