MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) - Belarusian cyclist Raman Tsishkou has claimed victory in the UCI Trans-Himalaya Cycling Race in China, BelTA has learned.
The four-day event, which took place on 7-10 August, featured 100 cyclists. Representing China’s Li Ning Star, Raman Tsishkou dominated the opening stage, secured fifth place on Stage 3, and finished within the main pack on Stages 2 and 4. His consistent performance earned him the overall general classification win, edging out Israel’s Omer Goldstein by a narrow four-second margin.
This victory marks the first major triumph for Belarusian cyclists at this level since 2018. Dzianis Marchuk and Yauhen Sobal also competed in the 2025 Trans-Himalaya Cycling Race.
