MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Early voting as part of the presidential election has ended in Belarus. As many as 41.81% of the registered voters cast their votes over the course of five days, BelTA learned from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus.
Voter turnout totaled 41.99% in Brest Oblast, 41.51% in Vitebsk Oblast, 41.72% in Gomel Oblast, 40.70% in Grodno Oblast, 42.68% in Minsk Oblast, 42.95% in Mogilev Oblast, and 41.14% in the city of Minsk.
The main ballot day to elect the Belarus president is scheduled for 26 January 2025. Polling stations will be open from 8:00 till 20:00.
