MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) — The Belarusian air carrier Belavia operates at full capacity in all friendly markets, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak said at a joint sitting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on 25 September, BelTA has learned.
"Nowadays, Belavia works at full capacity in all friendly markets. The company continues to develop the eastern and southern routes for regular air passenger transport. Belavia operates regular flights to 22 airports in 10 countries," Anatoly Sivak said.
Minsk National Airport focuses on attracting airlines, primarily Russian ones, and opening new routes for passenger and cargo transport.
The vice premier also pointed out that the Belarus-Russia intergovernmental agreement on the collection of aeronautical and airport charges and rates is to come into force soon. It will ensure equal tariffs on airport and aeronautical services for the aircraft operators of both states.
