ProfSkills Belarus 2025 to kick off in Minsk on 23 May 

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) - More than 1,000 contestants and experts from all over the country, CIS and other countries will take part in the 6th edition of the national professional skills contest ProfSkills Belarus 2025, which will be held in Minsk from 23 to 26 May, BelTA learned from the Education Ministry of Belarus. 

Active preparations are now underway at the main venues of the upcoming large-scale forum. These include the National Children's Technopark, Football Indoor Center, Falcon Club. Chizhovka Arena will host the opening and closing ceremonies of ProfSkills Belarus 2025.

Young workers, specialists and students of colleges and universities will demonstrate their skills in 50 competencies, for example, in manufacturing, information, construction, transportation technologies, social and personal services, fashion and design. 

An open professional skills championship of partner countries will be held as part of the final of the national contest. It will bring together more than 100 participants from the EAEU member states, African countries and China. They will demonstrate their skills in 29 competencies, five of them will be Inclusive Skills.
Belarus won 3 gold, 21 silver and 19 bronze medals in international professional skills competitions in 2024.
