MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – The Oreshnik [hazelnut] missile system will be deployed in Belarus in December, TASS quoted Natalya Eismont, Press Secretary of the Belarus president, as saying.
Natalya Eismont said: “The work to enable conditions for Oreshnik missiles in the Republic of Belarus is nearly over. The missiles will be put on combat alert in December 2025. This is why all kinds of speculations about whether Oreshnik will be deployed or not are now over.”
In a comment to the RIA Novosti agency on this topic, Natalya Eismont said: "Just today, the military reported to the president on this matter. The military confirmed that this will happen in December.”
