MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – After the coup d’état, repression in Ukraine took on massive proportions, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov (2010-2014) said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“I’ve already touched on this topic, but I cannot help but mention again the civilian repressions that took on a massive scale after the coup d’état in Ukraine. Over these 11 years, all political opposition has been eradicated. Only a pseudo-opposition is allowed there – one that occasionally speaks up but never addresses the real issues,” said Nikolai Azarov.

Nevertheless, the former prime minister noted that spontaneous protests against the violence of the Kiev regime are now gaining momentum in Ukraine. This includes, among other things, the arbitrary actions of territorial recruitment center staff. According to Nikolai Azarov, any man – or even woman – can be stopped on Ukrainian streets, beaten, handcuffed, and sent to the front.

“There are already hundreds of such cases – yet law enforcement turns a blind eye, just as the Western-backed human rights organizations do,” he emphasized. Nikolai Azarov added that the Western media remains largely silent on the matter.

“This isn’t just a minor issue – it’s a critical front in the information war. Victory here is essential to the greater struggle against fascism, Nazism, and Bandera’s ideology,” the former Ukrainian prime minister concluded.
