Chinese singer Wang Xi admits audience’s enthusiasm at Intervision 2025

MOSCOW, 21 September (BelTA) – The audience’s energy was so strong it even made me nervous, the participant of the Intervision 2025 Song Contest from China Wang Xi told journalists after his performance, BelTA has learned.

Wang Xi said that during his performance the audience was very active. “They started moving energetically right after my first word. That’s why I even got nervous and switched the microphone from my right hand to my left,” he said.
The singer noted that he especially enjoyed the performance of the first contestant, Zulema Iglesias Salazar from Cuba. “It was very cheerful and joyful,” he said. Wang Xi also added that he had very much wanted to see the performance of Shaman [Russian singer], but unfortunately was unable to.
Wang Xi was happy to present his culture on such a large stage.

As it was previously reported, the Intervision 2025 Song Contest took place at Live Arena in Moscow on 20 September. A total of 22 participants competed for victory (the 23rd contestant from the United States was unable to perform). The winner was determined through a vote by an international professional jury composed of recognized music experts from each participating country.
