MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) - A workshop titled Easter Candles was held at the Belarusian embassy in Vietnam on 11 April as part of the Belarusian School in Hanoi project, timed to coincide with the celebration of Easter, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Hanoi.
The event was attended by children of embassy staff, representatives of the Belarusian diaspora in Hanoi, as well as Vietnamese friends and partners. Participants in the “creative workshop” learned about the holiday and the symbolism of the Easter candle, which brings wellbeing and protection to the home and family.
The young artisans made candles, decorated Easter eggs, and painted wooden crafts.
